Tower Health Selects Three New Board Members

WEST READING PA – Three individuals joined the board of directors of Tower Health, the non-profit healthcare organization that operates Pottstown and Phoenixville hospitals, on July 1 (2020). They are retail business executive Jim Boscov, retired finance executive Angel Helm, and commercial litigator William Thornton Jr., it reported in a media release.

Continuing on the board are Drexel University President John Fry, retired executive Sue Perrotty, and former investment manager Tod Auman. All were named to its ranks in 2019.

Also continuing are C. Thomas Work of Stevens & Lee; Meg Mueller of Fulton Financial Corp., Dr. Brent Wagner of the American Board of Radiology, retired executive and restaurant owner Barbara Arner, White Star Tours’ president and CEO Chris Kraras, and Karen Rightmire of the Wyomissing Foundation. Tower president and CEO Clint Matthews serves on the board ex officio.

Work and Mueller were re-elected as board chair and vice chair, respectively. Auman was appointed Investment Committee chair, and Mueller as Finance Committee chair. All also were effective July 1.
