Pottstown Man Charged with Theft from Vehicle
NORTH COVENTRY PA – A 19-year-old Pottstown man is scheduled for a preliminary hearing Thursday (July 16, 2020) on charges brought by North Coventry police that include theft from a motor vehicle and receiving stolen property, according to court documents.
Police obtained a warrant July 6 for the arrest of Quincy Damone Baker of Pottstown, after investigating an incident that occurred June 28 at the Wawa convenience store, 260 W. Schuylkill Rd. Officers claim Baker was identified from store security video footage and “numerous tips provided by the public,” a report on the department’s CrimeWatch website stated.
Baker turned himself in to police, it added, and faced preliminary arraignment. He initially was transferred to Chester County Prison but later was released after posting $1,500 bail, court records show.
