Limerick Municipal Building Reopens for Business

LIMERICK PA – Although several of its municipal boards have held meetings there for weeks, the Limerick Township administration and police building officially reopened to the public for business last Monday (July 6, 2020), the township announced on its website.

Coronavirus infection protection measures are in effect:

  • All departmental reception counters are open for routine activities; however, to maintain social distancing practices, township employees will remain behind protective glass enclosures; and
  • Anyone who desires an in-person meeting with township staff member must schedule an appointment in advance and accept a temperature screening before being permitted to meet in the non-public areas of the building.

Want to avoid entering the building? A secure drop box is located in the front vestibule, is available 24 hours a day and seven days a week, and can be used to submit construction or zoning permit applications, park or field rental applications, or any other township-related business requests.

Township employees also continue to process requests electronically. Submission instructions and contact information can be found on its website.
