Sanatoga Volunteers Wash Away Storm’s Mudbath

CLEANING UP AFTER ISAIAS – Sanatoga Fire Company volunteers spent a portion of Tuesday (Aug. 4, 2020) in one of Lower Pottsgrove Township’s popular recreation areas, Sanatoga Park, making its parking lot and other surfaces usable again after the departure of Tropical Storm Isaias. Much of the asphalt lot and walkways were covered with slippery, gooey mud and silt, the result of the hurricane’s rain-created flooding of the park lake on South Sanatoga Road. Clearing it away with hoses were Brandon Towson, Dave Saylor, Matt Steinmetz and Neil Fuerman.
