ROYERSFORD PA – A new non-profit gift store named “Uncommon Exchange,” which it says hopes to be “a stitch that helps knit the community together,” holds its grand opening Sunday (Aug. 9, 2020) from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 324 Main St.

Uncommon Exchange sells goods made by local community members and people from all over the world. Its Facebook page states it will sell fair-trade items, and all profits from the store will be donated to other non-profits.

To mark the event, all who visit Uncommon Exchange during Sunday’s grand opening will receive a reusable gift bag, it said. In recent weeks, the retail store has offered glimpses of its interior and an assortment of products for sale, including succulents, clothing, and handmade beaded jewelry.
