Monday Crash Results in Motor Cyclist Injuries
DOUGLASS (BERKS) TOWNSHIP PA – An accident involving two motor vehicles, a sports utility vehicle and a motorcycle, that occurred Monday (Sept. 7, 2020) at 5:25 p.m. at the intersection of Benjamin Franklin Highway and Quarry Road in Douglass (Berks) Township, resulted in injuries to the cyclist, the township police department reported.
None of the individuals involved in the crash were identified in the report, released Tuesday (Sept. 8) on the department’s CrimeWatch website. It noted that Goodwill Ambulance, which responded to the scene, transported the motor cycle victim to Pottstown Hospital for treatment. His or her current condition was not reported, nor was the extent of the injuries.
Volunteers from Amity Fire and Rescue in Douglassville responded to provide traffic control services, the department added.
