
Pottsgrove Approves 2% Raises for Three Executives
LOWER POTTSGROVE PA – The three highest-paid executives in the Pottsgrove School District each were granted raises of 2 percent by the district Board of School Directors during its Tuesday night (Sept. 22, 2020) on the Zoom conferencing platform.
Salary increases were granted to district:
- Superintendent Dr. William Shirk, who with board approval now earns $192,469 yearly;
- Business Administrator David Nester, who also is a certified public accountant, $179,715; and
- Assistant Superintendent Dr. Robert Harney, $159,192.
All three “executive administrative salaries,” as they are labeled, retroactively took effect July 1, according to the board agenda.
