Community Health and Dental Marks Barto Opening

BARTO PA – The fourth health care center operated by Community Health and Dental Care Inc. observed its grand opening Sept. 26 at 1315 Route 100 North in Barto. It is accepting new patients, offers equipment to provide quality medical and integrated behavioral health services for all ages, provides free transportation, and by year’s end will add two dental chairs and a medication dispensary, it said.

Natalia Massias, CRNP, FNP-C, and Collette Hain, CRNP, are its primary medical providers. The practice provides medical, dental, obstetrics and gynecology, vision, podiatry, physical therapy, medication assistance therapy, integrated behavioral health, and care and case management. It began operations in 2008, and since 2012 has received annual funding from the federal Health Resources and Services Administration as a designated federally qualified health center.

Despite a rainy day, Community Health and Dental Care CEO Bridgette McGivern and its board President Barbara Robinson jointly cut the grand opening red ribbon (above), accompanied by representatives of the Upper Perk Valley and TriCounty Area chambers of commerce, 130th District state Rep. David Maloney Sr., and other board members and staffers.
