SCHWENKSVILLE PA – More than 1,300 volunteers donated their time and muscle Saturday morning (Oct. 31, 2020), and fanned out as an army of debris detectors throughout the Perkiomen Watershed, to collect and remove unwanted trash and refuse marring its streams and landscape. Some area families say the annual event has become a fun and rewarding way to give back to their communities.

  • Watch a video (above) – filmed and produced by Schwenksville resident and Post intern Meghan Drakas (who makes a cameo appearance!) – in which those who came out talk about why they consider the Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy yearly clean-up so important.
