Locally and as a Nation, We’re Off and Running
LOWER POTTSGROVE VOTES – Like all other polling places across Pennsylvania, Lower Pottsgrove polling place No. 4 – at the township municipal building on Buchert Road – promptly opened at 7 a.m. By that time, more than 100 registered voters were eager and waiting in line outside to cast their ballots in the nation’s presidential race, state row offices races, and locally for members of Congress and the state Legislature. This photo was taken from atop the flower bed outside the building’s front doors, at 6:46 a.m. At that point, the line snaked around the the back of the building to beyond its Police Department entrance and neared North Pleasant View Road.
