Lower Pottsgrove Warrant Seeks Alleged Assailant
SANATOGA PA – A 27-year-old Philadelphia man who allegedly assaulted a Sanatoga victim at the victim’s home is being sought on a warrant obtained by the Lower Pottsgrove Police Department. Officers assembled a list of charges that resulted from what they said was a Nov. 9 (2020; Monday) incident which occurred in the Rolling Hills apartment complex on Buchert Road.
Donnell Robinson Jr., who apparently lives in the Frankford section of the city, faces charges of simple assault, robbery, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, and harassment, court records show. The warrant was issued by Magisterial District Court Justice Edward C. Kropp Sr.
Robinson came to the victim’s apartment at about 9:47 a.m. “and demanded to be let in,” according to the department’s CrimeWatch website report Wednesday (Nov. 20). The victim complied, and “an argument ensued upon his entry,” police reported. The “victim was continually assaulted and her cell phone was taken from her hands,” the department alleged, but later was able to call police using another phone.
The report did not indicate if the victim needed medical attention or was hospitalized.
Police said Robinson “fled in a white Dodge Charger,” and was gone from the scene by the time they arrived.
