Juvenile Justice Group Names Mensch Top Legislator

HARRISBURG PA – The Pennsylvania Partnership for Juvenile Services has named 24th District state Sen. Bob Mensch as its “2020 Legislator of the Year” for his support of workers with disabilities, and for workers during the coronavirus pandemic.

The partnership is a professional organization dedicated to promoting sound policies, advancing best practice standards, and maintaining a continuous learning environment within the juvenile justice system.

In presenting its honor, the partnership praised Mensch for being “a champion in supporting workers through the current pandemic, ensuring that families can be sustainable through tough times.” It specifically mentioned his bill to provide “better earning potential for workers with disabilities.”
