Pennypacker Named Police Officer in Lancaster County

POTTSTOWN GRAD JOINS MANHEIM POLICE – Pottstown High School alumnus and Penn State University graduate Mason Pennypacker, center, has taken his oath as the newest officer in the Borough of Manheim PA Police Department, it announced Wednesday (Dec. 30, 2020) on its Facebook page. Pennypacker recently graduated from the Reading Police Academy, and will focus his career on community policing, it added. The borough, with a population of about 5,000 people, is located at Routes 72 and 772 in Lancaster County, 56 miles from Pottstown. Participating at Pennypacker’s swearing-in were Police Chief Joseph Stauffer, left, and borough Mayor Scott Funk.
