Lower Pottsgrove Hires County for Planning Services

SANATOGA PA – A three-year contract under which Lower Pottsgrove will rely on the Montgomery County Planning Commission for support and assistance in writing or revising proposed laws, providing guidance and advice in reviewing subdivision and land development planning, and other technical expertise was approved Monday (Jan. 4, 2021) by the township Board of Commissioners.

The cost: $7,350 annually, made in two payments. Township Manager Ed Wagner said he considered it a bargain.

“I highly recommend it,” he said of the contract. “It’s very reasonable compared to what they give to us,” Wagner added. Board members unanimously agreed.
