Traffic Halted Monday for Lewis-Yeager Accident

ROYERSFORD PA – A two-vehicle accident that occurred Monday morning (Jan. 11, 2021; a time was not specified) at the intersection of South Lewis and Yeager roads in Upper Providence Township brought first responders from the township police department, Friendship Ambulance, the Royersford Fire Department, and the Upper Providence Department of Fire and Emergency Services, according to the Royersford Watchdesk blog.

Traffic was halted while the fire departments worked to “mitigate hazards,” and emergency medical services crews evaluated potential victims at the site, it said. It did not mention of the extent of injuries, if any. Township police investigated the incident and provided assistance at the scene.

Affected roads were re-opened about 30 minutes after crews arrived, the blog noted.
