Lower Pottsgrove, Limerick Rep. Ciresi Receives Appointments

HARRISBURG PA – 146th Legislative District Rep. Joe Ciresi – who represents all or parts of Limerick, Lower Pottsgrove and Perkiomen townships and the boroughs of Pottstown, Royersford, and Trappe in the state House – has received his committee assignments for its 2021-’22 session.

Ciresi, a 12-year former president and member of the Spring-Ford Area school board, has been appointed to serve on the House Education Committee. He also was reappointed to the House Commerce, and House Tourism and Recreational Development committees; appointed to the House Gaming Oversight Committee; and named a vice-chair of the House Democratic Policy Committee.

His education-related priorities included achieving real fair funding for education, charter school reform, comprehensive education reform, and cost savings and shared services, Ciresi added.
