Portion of Grosstown Road Set to Close Weekdays
WEST POTTSGROVE PA – West Pottsgrove Township is closing Grosstown Road, between Constitution Avenue and Roberts Drive (at top), on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. through mid-July for sewer upgrades, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. The work was scheduled to begin Monday (Jan. 18, 2021), and its progress depends in part on acceptable weather, it added.
As the utility improvements get under way, drivers on Grosstown Road will be detoured over Manatawny and High streets, PennDOT said, and issued a map of the diversion route (below). Because backups and delays are expected, drivers should allow extra time when traveling near the work area.
