New Week, Continued Repairs Ahead on Route 422

KING OF PRUSSIA PA – U.S. Route 422 drivers will encounter lane closures in both directions next week, between its Royersford-Trappe and Sanatoga interchanges across Limerick and Lower Pottsgrove, for continuing construction to rehabilitate pavement and repair seven structures along five miles of the four-lane highway, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said Thursday (Feb. 4, 2021).

The work schedule and locations are:

  • Monday through Friday (Feb. 8-12) from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., alternating left- and right-lane closures are scheduled on westbound 422 between Country Club and Evergreen roads, and at the Sanatoga interchange; and
  • Monday through Friday (Feb. 8-12) from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., alternating left- and right-lane closures are scheduled on eastbound 422 between Park and Township Line roads, and at the Limerick and Sanatoga interchanges.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas, because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities depend on acceptable weather.
