Citizens Bank, SCORE Chapters Offer Contest Cash
POTTSTOWN PA – Is your small business a “champion” in the community it serves? If so, owners can tell their stories to Citizens Bank – which operates branches locally in Giant Markets at Upland Square and Royersford, at Walgreens in Limerick, and on West Ridge Pike in Limerick – and possibly win a $10,000 award.
The bank is in its fourth year of the annual Small Business Community Champion Award contest, partnered with SCORE chapters (there’s one in Pottstown) of the federal Small Business Administration. A total of $300,000 in cash prizes will be awarded, distributed evenly to reflect all types of small business ownership, including those owned by women and minorities.
Entering the contest, here, is easy, the bank said. Answer a few questions about how you would use the award to support your business and community, and how your company is adapting to meet your customers’ evolving needs. It also asks entrants to potentially share a photo or two that helps illustrate how your business supports the community. There’s nothing to buy, and you don’t need to be a bank customer.
The competition opened Tuesday (Feb. 16, 2021), and the deadline for entries is March 1 (Monday).
