WYOMISSING PA – “Women & Wellness,” a 30-minute free virtual program that features female financial experts who share experiences and tips regarding financial well-being, is being expanded by Tompkins Financial Advisors to residents of Montgomery and Berks counties, the wealth-management firm announced Thursday. The series has enjoyed a successful launch in its New York territory, the company added.

The series’ next presentation, to be held March 17 (2021; Wednesday) at 10 a.m., is being led by Michelle Ochs, company assistant vice president and trust counsel. It intends to cover “Estate Planning: Modern Families Need Modern Planning,” with topics to include estate planning issues, including those facing blended families, divorced families, co-habitating couples, and single parent families. Advance registration is available here.

Tompkins Financial Advisors is a unit of Tompkins Financial Corporation, which separately operates Tompkins VIST Bank and its branches in Pottstown, Birdsboro, Boyertown, and Oaks PA. Tompkins Financial Advisors have offices in Wyomissing and Blue Bell.

Previously recorded sessions are accessible here. They include “Investing 101,” “Managing Your Finances During Periods of Uncertainty,” “Financial Planning: Time to Take Control,” “The Art of Building Wealth,” and “Retirement Planning: Living Longer & Saving More.”

Susan Redsicker (at top), Tompkins Financial Advisors’ vice president and director of financial planning, is one of the program’s founders. “Our goal, when we got started, was to educate women in the community and to create a space for women to talk frankly about money. Including women in the areas of Pennsylvania we serve is an important step in making sure more women have access to these vital conversations.”
