Police Seek Birdsboro Man on Retail Theft Warrant
BIRDSBORO PA – A 45-year-old man whose last known address was in Birdsboro is the subject of a felony arrest warrant obtained by the Lititz Borough Police Department on theft-related charges, the department reported Tuesday (March 2, 2021) on its CrimeWatch website.
Wanted is Ted Bronson, whom the department alleges stole groceries valued at about $284 from the Weis Market, South Broad Street, Lititz PA, on July 15 (2020) at about 3:22 p.m. He allegedly was accompanied by what it said was a female suspect who has not yet been identified, according to the web report.
The department said its officers responded seven months ago to a report of retail theft at the supermarket. Statements from witnesses provided descriptions of both suspects, as well as registration information for a vehicle in which it was claimed they fled the scene. From them, the department said, its officers were “able to identify the male involved as Bronson.”
Anyone who may know of Bronson’s whereabouts is asked to contact the department by phone at 717-626-6393; by e-mail to Media@LititzPD.org; or by anonymously providing information on the department’s “Submit A Tip” webpage, here.
