County Extends ‘Code Blue’ Warning Until Saturday

CODE BLUE DECLARATION EXTENDED – A “Code Blue” declaration, issued Thursday (March 4, 2021) by Montgomery County government because winter conditions posed a threat of serious harm or death to individuals without shelter, has been extended through Saturday (March 6) at 10 a.m., according to a media statement. The extension was based on weather forecasts that predicted “the temperature or wind chill is expected to be at or below 20 degrees Fahrenheit.” County residents who need emergency shelter during a “Code Blue” can call the Your Way Home Call Center at 2-1-1 or text their zip code to 898-211.
