Spray-Paint Vandals Strike Saturday at Kenilworth Park

NORTH COVENTRY PA – Township police are investigating incidents of spray-painted vandalism (at top and below) at North Coventry’s Kenilworth Park playground, 1206 Scherfel Blvd., that were discovered Sunday (March 7, 2021) but likely occurred during overnight hours Saturday (March 6), according to a report on the police department’s CrimeWatch website.

Officers responding to a call regarding possible criminal mischief arrived at the park early Sunday morning to find a series of symbols resembling back-to-back letter “C”s within a circle sprayed onto two pieces of children’s playground equipment, as well as on a “Little Free Library” book container that had been erected in the park as an Eagle Scout project.
