PennDOT Wants Your Opinion on Winter Performance

HARRISBURG PA – “So, how’d we do this winter?,” the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation wants to know. PennDOT is asking for public feedback on its seasonal services through an online survey, here, that will be available until April 6 (2021; Tuesday).

Survey results will allow the agency to “measure public expectations and identify education opportunities,” PennDOT Secretary Yassmin Gramian said. The digital form takes about five minutes to complete, according to the organization, and all responses are completely anonymous.

Its 12 questions ask respondents about their timeline expectations for safe and passable roadways, how they rank snow-removal priorities, and how they rate PennDOT’s winter services. Respondents are also asked how they receive the department’s roadway information, and whether or how they use the state’s 511PA traveler information services.
