Police Look for Alleged Cinema Hit-and-Run Driver

NORTH COVENTRY PA – The driver of a vehicle involved Friday (April 2, 2021) during evening hours in an alleged hit-and-run accident at the Flagship Cinema parking lot, 650 W. Schuylkill Rd., is being sought by the North Coventry Police Department, according to its CrimeWatch website. Officers are requesting public help in locating the individual.

Police said they responded to the theater after learning about a vehicle that was struck and which sustained damage. They reviewed video footage available at the scene, and said an unidentified male was observed entering a what is believed to be a maroon-colored minivan (above), possibly a Toyota Sienna, on the lot. It is then observed backing into a parked car; its driver is seen “exiting his vehicle, inspecting the damage,” and then leaving, the web report stated.
