NorCo Police Hold Warrant in Alleged Retail Theft

NORTH COVENTRY PA – A 37-year-old man whose address is unknown is accused by the North Coventry Police Department of shoplifting merchandise from a local retailer, and it obtained a warrant Thursday (April 1, 2021) for his arrest. Because his location remains a mystery, police are asking for public help in finding him, according to its CrimeWatch website.

Robert Edward Ferko Jr. (at top) is wanted on a charge of retail theft under a warrant issued by Magisterial District Justice John A. Hipple.

The department’s web report said its officer responded March 29 (Monday) at 8:45 p.m. to a call regarding alleged retail theft at the Boscov’s Department Store in Coventry Mall, 351 W. Schuylkill Rd. It claimed that the subject, later identified as Ferko as the result of an investigation, selected merchandise and then fled the store before the police arrived without offering payment.

Anyone who knows of Ferko’s whereabouts is asked to call the department at 610-323-8360, or provide information anonymously using the department’s “Submit A Tip” page, here.
