Zieglerville Center Park Clean-Up Planned for Sunday

ZIEGLERVILLE PA – Village Center Park, in front of the CVS Pharmacy on Gravel Pike, will be the scene Sunday (April 11, 2021) at 9:30 a.m. of a spring clean-up conducted by the Lower Frederick Parks and Recreation Board, and its members hope they’ll have some community help in completing the work.

Township resident-volunteers are being asked to give a little time to cut down old growth, and do some pruning and weeding around the parks flower beds, trees, and decorative fountain. Many hands can make light work, particularly if they’re filled with the right tools. So if you’ve got gloves, cutting shears, a favorite weeding tool, a rake or too, and some spare buckets or containers, bring ’em along.

A township dump truck will be on hand to collect and haul away the debris.

An April 18 rain date has already been set if inclement weather stops the work in its tracks, or even before it begins. For more information or answers to questions, call or send a text to Pam Reich at 484-238-2089.
