‘Super Load’ Passes Thursday Across Upper Providence

UPPER PROVIDENCE PA – Upper Providence police are preparing to escort what they describe as a “super load” to travel Thursday (April 29, 2021) at mid-day across five different highways within the township.

Publicly released details at its CrimeWatch website are sparse. The size of the load that qualifies it “super” is not described, but it’s assumed to be either large, or heavy, or both, and to be transported by trucks or tractors. The nature of the cargo itself was not provided, nor was its final destination.

The police department will accompany it, however, as it moves over Hafner, 2nd, Vaughn, Lewis, and Linfield-Trappe roads. “Please plan your travel accordingly,” it suggested to drivers.
