New Traffic Control Devices Installed Along 100
HELPING TO REDUCE ACCIDENTS – Highly visible traffic control measures, like these reflective lane markers on State Street at its intersection with Route 100 North and Upland Square Drive, are part of a series of improvements the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation has been installing since mid-March. The agency said they are intended to help slow drivers and reduce high-speed crashes. The controls being set up vary in type and location. A list of Route 100 intersections where work was being conducted through Monday (April 24) included King Street and Shoemaker Road in Pottstown, State Street and Moyer Road in Upper Pottsgrove, and Rick Road, Grosser Road, Jackson Road, and County Line Road in Douglass.
