ENHANCEMENTS APPROVED – A significant number of building facade upgrades (above and below) at the Sanatoga Greene mixed use development on Evergreen Road in Lower Pottsgrove have received official approval from the township Board of Commissioners. Developer Ted Drauschak (at top, accompanied by an exterior view of its proposed clubhouse), Thursday (May 20, 2021) sought board authorization to proceed with improvements as part of his firm’s project for its second phase. Earlier he explained to board members how his design team “spent a lot of time and effort” in revamping the exterior look and interior amenities of the clubhouse, and one- and two-bedroom apartments. Many changes are driven by public demand for more luxury finishes and facilities, Drauschak noted. “It’s about what the market likes,” he said, in reporting on and displaying drawings that show significantly higher outside uses of stone, cement siding, and chimney elements. Its showpiece clubhouse includes a personal gym, salt water pool, grassy areas for children, and sitting areas with outdoor fire places. Ground-breaking is planned for June or July. Commissioners voted unanimously to accept the amendments.
