State Plans to Mill, Re-Pave Route 113 Next Week
UPPER PROVIDENCE PA – A lane closure is planned overnights for Tuesday through Friday (June 1-4, 2021), from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. daily, on Route 113, between Trappe and Mennonite roads, for milling and paving operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said. PennDOT is milling and repaving the existing roadway surface with new asphalt to seal it and ensure a smoother riding surface.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area. Slowdowns will occur, the agency said. All scheduled activities are depend on acceptable weather.
Work on the project will comply with Centers for Disease Control and state Department of Health guidelines.
