Bridge-Related Power Outage Now Set for June 10
HARLEYSVILLE PA – A power outage related to Alderfer Road bridge utility location work, which was to have occurred last week, is now planned to take place June 10 (Thursday), according to a notice issued by Lower Salford Township.
The outage is expected to affect about 300 PECO Energy customers (see the map at top) located on Alderfer Road, Jan Drive, the southwest portion of Manor Road, Belcourt Way, Danny Lane, Danielle Drive, the northeast section of Florence Drive, and a portion of Stahl Road, the township said.
PECO’s efforts had been scheduled for May 27 at 8 p.m. through May 28 at 6 a.m., but were postponed. The township has not yet indicated, but said it likely will soon report, the time frame for the re-scheduled work. An announcement will be posted on its website when it becomes available. PECO also is anticipated to contact affected customers to let them know when the outage begins.
