Seats Available in Diabetes Prevention Sessions

POTTSTOWN PA – Montgomery and Berks County residents who may be at risk of developing Type 2 diabetes (the most common form) still have time to take advantage of either of two virtual programs aimed at diabetes prevention. Both are offered by Pottstown Medical Specialists Inc., which operates family physicians’ offices in Lower Pottsgrove, Stowe, Royersford, Collegeville, and Boyertown.

One session began Wednesday (May 26, 2021) and meets weekly online on Wednesdays for just an hour, from 3-4 p.m. It continues to have a seats available for those ready to start immediately. The second, identical to the first, starts June 24 (Thursday) and meets weekly online on Thursdays, also for just an hour, from 6-7 p.m.

The program provides a trained lifestyle coach who works with participants, and suggests how they can take charge of their health with tasty meals, reduced stress, and regular exercise. It’s intended to help all who join feel better, stronger, and more energized, as well as improve their health.

Either live-streamed event allows guests to attend without travel, and from the comfort of their homes. Both sessions are open to the public and do not require a medical co-payment.
