Township Police Arrest Stowe Man on Earlier Warrant
LOWER POTTSGROVE PA – A 29-year-old Stowe man, who had been wanted since late last month under a warrant issued to Lower Pottsgrove police for several offenses related to an alleged disturbance, was arrested Thursday (June 17, 2021) by Pottstown Borough Police and later turned over to the township department, its CrimeWatch website reported.
Dominic Isaish Ockimey faces charges of criminal trespass for breaking into a structure, making terroristic threats, simple assault, criminal trespass as a simple trespasser, criminal mischief involving property damage, and harassment, court records show. He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing June 30 (Thursday) before Magisterial District Justice Edward C. Kropp Sr. in his Pottstown courtroom.
Police said Ockimey was arrested May 22. He allegedly “forced his way into an apartment” at the Rolling Hills apartment complex, 2120 Buchert Rd., “and then caused a disturbance while there.” It supplied no other details about the incident.
Following preliminary arraignment, Ockimey was transported to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility in Eagleville after failing to post $25,000 cash bail, according to court records.
