Benefited from Local Services? Join A Discussion
POTTSTOWN PA – An online discussion about promoting social safety net services in Pottstown and surrounding communities, which have helped segments of the public get through the coronavirus pandemic – and one which some still rely – is scheduled to be held July 7 (2021; Wednesday) at 11:30 a.m. Registration for the event, which is free and open to the public, is available here.
“It’s clear now more than ever that you never know when you’ll need support to make it through a crisis,” promoters of the seminar say. “During this time, many programs like unemployment benefits, health services (including free COVID testing), rental assistance, food access, and so much more
have protected people from facing catastrophe.”
Those who have been affected by more than a year of the COVID-19 emergency, and who sought community assistance in any form to get by, are asked to participate and comment in “Here For Us MontCo.”
