Township Authority Returns to In-Person Meetings
SANATOGA PA – When board members of the Lower Pottsgrove Township Authority next meet during August, it will be live and in-person at the Buchert Road municipal building, Manager Ed Wagner reminded the township Board of Commissioners during its Tuesday night (July 7, 2021) regular meeting.
Authority members decided during June that they would leave their computers and accompanying Zoom conferencing software behind. The ability to meet remotely was adopted as a safety measure during the pandemic. Now the authority plans to assemble inside the conference room at 2199 Buchert Rd. for their 6:30 p.m. scheduled meetings on Aug. 9, Sept. 13, Oct. 11, Nov. 8, and Dec. 13.
Authority meetings, which deal primarily with township sewer-related issues, are free to attend and open to the public. Free parking is available at the municipal building, and also across the road at Gerald Richards Park. Copies of board agendas are available in advance, usually by 24 hours or more, from the township website, here.
Wagner also announced the authority had canceled its scheduled meeting of July 12. No reason for that change was offered.
