Wednesday Morning Accident Disrupts 422 East
Sanatoga firefighters work to loosen a fender on the dump truck

LOWER POTTSGROVE PA – Traffic on eastbound U.S. Route 422 became backed up Wednesday (July 7, 2021) shortly after 5:30 a.m., less than a mile from the Sanatoga interchange off-ramp at Evergreen Road, due to a two-vehicle accident involving a dump truck and a passenger car. Goodwill Ambulance was on the scene, but it did not appear as if any of those involved sustained injuries.

Details of the accident were unavailable, as Lower Pottsgrove Police Department officers had yet to complete their investigation.

Wednesday Morning Accident Disrupts 422 East

Sanatoga Fire Company volunteers and fire police responded to the scene. Eastbound traffic (above) was limited to the left lane to pass the point where the vehicles had come to rest.
