College Leaves ’21 Tuition Rates, Fees Unchanged
POTTSTOWN PA – For the fifth consecutive year, Montgomery County Community College will keep its tuition and fees unchanged and at the same rate for the 2021-2022 academic year, it announced Thursday (July 8, 2021). Tuition for 2021-2022 is $144 per credit for county residents and $288 per credit for those out-of-county. Fees also will remain the same.
“Students and families only recently are starting to recover from the impact of the pandemic, and MCCC is continuing to do its part by keeping tuition and fees as low as possible to make higher education affordable for all learners,” college President Dr. Victoria L. Bastecki-Perez said.
The college also offers last-dollar tuition waivers to aid residents who are unemployed due to the pandemic. Through the Montco Recovery Tuition Assistance Program, qualifying county residents who lost full-or part-time employment on or after March 6, 2020 (when the pandemic was declared), may receive tuition waivers to earn their associate’s degree or certificate, and return to employment quickly.
Registration is open for the college’s fall semester classes. They’ll be available in a variety of formats for differing learning style and scheduling needs, it said.
