Representative’s Office Sets Veteran Assistance Hours

EMMAUS PA – Special office hours to serve veterans who live in the 131st Legislative District, which includes Upper Hanover, East Greenville, and Pennsburg, are being offered by state Rep. Milou Mackenzie on the fourth Wednesday of the month from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., she reported Thursday. The next session is scheduled for July 28 (Wednesday).

American Legion Representative David Sharp will act as veteran service officer in MacKenzie’s Emmaus district office, 1245 D Chestnut St. Those interested in scheduling an appointment can call Mackenzie’s office at 610-965-5830.

The list of services for veterans and their dependents includes assistance with compensation; pension, death, and other benefits, education and health care. Veterans do not need to be a member of the American Legion to receive this help.
