Delineators Being Installed at Route 100 Intersections

POTTSTOWN PA – Eight different intersections at Route 100 across Pottstown Borough, Douglass (Montgomery) and Upper Pottsgrove townships will be sites of lane restrictions Monday through Friday, (June 12-16, 2021) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, for delineator installations intended to enhance safety, improve travel, and reduce crashes, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said.

The work locations are:

  • In Pottstown, Route 100 at Shoemaker Road, and King Street;
  • In Douglass, Route 100 at Rick Road, Grosser Road, County Line Road, and Jackson Road; and
  • In Upper Pottsgrove, at State Road, and Moyer Road.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas. Backups and delays may occur, PennDOT warned. All scheduled activities depend on acceptable weather.

Kuharchik Construction Inc. of Exeter is the general contractor for the work, which is part of an overall $5.9 million project in several counties that is expected to be completed during Spring 2023.
