A list of parcels, advertised July 1 (Thursday) as potentially available, is updated periodically and can be found online here. Unpaid taxes on the local parcels range in value from $1,172 to $3,687, according to a bureau notice. Parcels can be removed from the list as current owners pay taxes owed, or other circumstances arise.

Judicial sale properties are “sold free and clear of all tax and municipal claims, mortgages, liens, charges, and estates of whatsoever kind, except ground rents separately taxed,” the notice states. It adds that “in every case” the bureau is selling the taxable interest and is offering properties for sale “without guarantee of warranty whatsoever, either as to structure or lack of structures upon the land.”

So buyers beware, it warns. “It is strongly urged that prospective purchasers have an examination made of the title to any property in which they may be interested,” the notice adds.
