422 Wrong-Way Driving Results in 1-Car Accident
LOWER POTTSGROVE PA – A driver whose car Lower Pottsgrove police allege was traveling in the wrong direction on U.S. Route 422 within the township was involved in a single-vehicle crash Thursday (July 15, 2021) at 2:48 a.m. near mile-marker 175.7. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and other offenses.
No one was injured in the incident, according to the department’s CrimeWatch website.
Police reported Robert Millisky-Schickling III, who court records indicate is a 25-year-old Green Lane resident, “had been traveling eastbound in the westbound lane” of the limited access highway. The crash, they added, was “due to his driving actions.”
Millisky-Schickling faces charges of first offense DUI at the highest rate of blood alcohol content, DUI general impairment, and reckless driving, court records show.
Police said he initially was transported to and housed at the Montgomery County jail, but court records add he later was released on his own recognizance. He is scheduled to appear Aug. 18 for a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Justice Edward C. Kropp Sr.
Responding to the crash scene in addition to township police, according to their report, were the Limerick Township and Pottstown Borough police departments, Goodwill Ambulance, and the Sanatoga Fire Department.
