Enjoying A Beverage Keeps Edgewood Well-Mowed

Keeping Edgewood Cemetery tidy (at top) continues to depend on contributions and volunteer help

POTTSTOWN PA – Continuing maintenance work at East High Street’s Edgewood Historic Cemetery will benefit from a July 31 (2021; Saturday) fund-raising event from 3-6 p.m. at The Alley beer garden, 228 E. High St., with a portion of all proceeds being donated to help keep the grass mowed at the cemetery.

The event includes raffle prizes and a 50-50 drawing Prizes will include gift certificates for the Colebrookdale Railroad, Three Daughters Inn, 422 SportsPlex, and Jack Cassidy’s Irish Pub, as well as several themed baskets donated by Wolf, Baldwin, and Associates; original “Words of Art” by Ali Jacobs; Hill School and Hobart’s Run swag; and a wood pellet grill donated by Monastra & Grater.

All care at Edgewood, a previously abandoned resting place, depends upon contributions and volunteer efforts.

Its planners would greatly appreciate additional gift card or basket donations toward the cause.
