Pottstown Library Plans Free Wednesday Wellness Fest
POTTSTOWN PA – A community health and wellness festival is scheduled to be held Wednesday (July 28, 2021) from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the Pottstown Regional Public Library, 500 E. High St. The event is free to attend, and open to the public rain or shine.
Organizations that said they will be represented at the fest include (above) departments of the library itself and its supportive Friends of the Pottstown Library group, as well as Genesis Housing, Maternity Care Coalition. Rep. Joe Ciresi’s office, Community Health and Dental Care, Pottstown Community Action, Family Services of Montgomery County, Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services, Celebrate Recovery, First Childrens Services, ArtFusion 19464, and the Hobart’s Run community.
A drop-off collection box for good condition but no-longer-needed shoes will be available during the fest.
Library Youth Services Coordinator Mindy Lipsky invited those in attendance to “stop by the event table upon arrival to pick up your map and list of participants.” Those who obtain initials or a stamp from each participant can be entered in a drawing for a $25 “I Pick Pottstown” gift card.
