Douglass (Berks) Police Arrest Boyertown Man

DOUGLASS (BERKS) PA – A 28-year-old Boyertown motorcycle driver, who was the subject of a Farmington Avenue traffic stop by Douglass (Berks) Police Department officers, was found to be wanted on warrants by the Berks County Sheriff’s Office due to a previous incident and was taken into custody, the department reported Monday (July 26, 2021).

Its CrimeWatch website said Timothy Pereyaslov was pulled over by police and was arrested after the warrants were known. During the course of their July 21 (Wednesday) investigation, police also said they found what was suspected to be methamphetamine on the subject.

Pereyaslov was transported to the sheriff’s office. He also was charged July 22 (Thursday) by Douglass officers with single counts of possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to court records. He is scheduled for a Sept. 8 preliminary hearing on those charges in the courtroom of Magisterial District Justice Michael G. Hartman.
