Library Health Fair Connects Public to Local Resources

POTTSTOWN PA – Smiling faces met inquiring minds Wednesday afternoon (July 28, 2021) from 4:30-6:30 p.m. on the sidewalk and west lawn outside the Pottstown Regional Public Library, 500 E. High St., as it hosted a public health and wellness festival. The intent, library Youth Services Coordinator Mindy Lee Lipsky said, was to put often requested information about local health resources into the hands of people who want and need them.

It didn’t hurt, she added with a smile, that the library and all it has to offer benefited from the promotion too.

The Post presents an edited interview with Lipsky about the event, which attracted dozens of interested people during its two-hour run. Hear it below, or at its SoundCloud account.
