Township Warns Road Surface Chips May Be Flying

WHERE THE CHIPS MAY FLY – Drivers on North Sunnybrook Road in Sanatoga on Sunday (Aug. 1, 2021) saw several signs along its length (at top), warning the road had been covered Thursday (July 29) with a preservative oil-and-stone chip mixture. The notice usually is offered so drivers can slow down and avoid having their vehicles’ finish marred by still-loose chip debris kicked up by tires. The resurfacing work, part of Lower Pottsgrove Township‘s regular road maintenance schedule, stretched from just north of East High Street, past the entrances to Sunnybrook Ballroom and Sunnybrook Village, across the bridge at Sprogels Run, and up to the road’s 800 block, just north of Mulberry Street.
