Collegeville driver stop

Troopers said they pulled over a 26-year-old Collegeville man July 28 (Wednesday) at 2:08 a.m., at the intersection of Ridge Pike and Steinbright Drive in Lower Providence Township, “for numerous traffic violations” that involved a 2000 Toyota Highlander he was operating.

During the incident, troopers alleged, the man “was suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance.” Their investigation is continuing, troopers added.

Fleetwood driver stop

On July 16 (Friday) at 5:20 a.m., troopers said they conducted a traffic stop of a 2004 Jeep Laredo on westbound U.S. Route 422 in Limerick Township. They alleged its driver, a 24-year-old Fleetwood man, was determined to be “under the influence of alcohol and a controlled substance, and arrested.” Charges were filed with a local magisterial district court.
