Troopers Look for Alleged Pennsburg Rock Throwers


PENNSBURG PA – Pennsylvania State Police are looking for two individuals who, according to a Monday (Aug. 2, 2021) public information release, allegedly “threw a rock” at and damaged a vehicle traveling south on Pottstown Avenue. Its driver apparently was not injured, but investigators from the Troop K Barracks in Skippack said the projectile “caused a small crack in the windshield.”

After the incident occurred July 28 (Wednesday) at 8:48 p.m., troopers reported, the driver – a 61-year-old Pennsburg man – “pulled his vehicle over to assess the damage” as “the actors fled in an unknown direction.”

Troopers are asking for public help in finding the pair, who could faces charges of reckless endangerment. Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact the Skippack barracks at 610-584-1250.
