‘Mechanical Issue’ Blamed in East Greenville Crash

EAST GRENVILLE PA – “A mechanical issue with the steering” of a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck owned by a Zionsville PA business was the attributed cause of a single-vehicle traffic accident that occurred Saturday (Aug. 21, 2021) at 7:54 p.m. in the 500 block of Main Street in East Greenville Borough, according to a report from the Troop K Barracks of the Pennsylvania State Police.

Troopers who investigated said the 28-year-old driver and sole occupant, a Zionsville man, was traveling north on the street when the issue arose. “The vehicle drifted into a utility pole” as a result,” they added. He was uninjured, but the truck was removed by Rick’s Towing.

The man was cited for failure to drive properly on roads laned for traffic.
